Ashtray and Cool Air Intake System

Two Questions, the first is kind of dumb. I just purchased a 2004 T-Bird with 7500 miles, I'm very happy, but where the heck is the ashtray. The sheets list one but I can'f find it. I do have the heated seats and the switches may be placed where the ashtray normally goes. Does anyone know?

I have seen the cold air intakes with the air filters that need to be coated with a reddish oil-like substance. I have one of these on my Ford Explorer, and it does run stronger, but I keep ruining oxygen sensors. I don't want to screw up this T-bird as it is out of warranty and it is much more complex than the Explorer. Are any of you running this thing?
