Looking for a T-bird
I am starting to look around for a t-bird 04-05, and i heard good and bad things about them.
I would Love some advice on what to look for and cars i should stay away from. My wife will be driving it work around 20-miles a day and then it will go away for the winter months since, i live in the NW burbs of Chicago there is usally alot of salt laying around. She really likes the light green color and i found a 2004 that has a two tone interior with 13,000 miles for $29,000. How rare is the two tone and does that sound like a fair price? I realy could use some good advice. Thanks |

Hello tazman and welcome to the site.I'm sure you will get good info here. You have a lot of postings you can go thru to find the good the bad of T-Birds
But you got to love them.As a new owner myself I can't say anything bad ,mine is an '04 bought it with 10,085mi. off a Caddy dealer for $24,000.It did not have a hardtop. It was listed at $29,999 it took some beating up of the dealer ( I refused to pay dealer fees of $599 and would have walked at an time)and taking the chance it would be sold in the 3 weeks i showed interest.I did get an independent extended warrenty on the Bird.Good luck in your selection. As get the Vin.# and you will be told everything about the car to include the amount in color combo. |
