2002 was the only year they offered yellow. There were 145 yellows made with white tops. Thats a nice combo... you might what to buy a white one at ebay... (around $2,000) or get one repainted.

There is a speed govenor on these cars that is set at, I think, 130 MPH. Anyone else know for sure?

Thank Quickdraw, This is my second 02 Bird. My first one ended in 00342 so it was a very early production. The one I have now is a very late production bird. I just love it and would not of gotten rid one bird 1 except the new Mustang GT bit me. Once I have it (which was a special production, 2X through the paint booth for shine, I had pictures of it being built on the line, etc.) its creature comforts however were like riding in a lumber wagon by comparision. So I'm now happy as a clam with bird 2. Thanks good to be back.
