Correct aluminum/ paint scheme for 66 light surround

One end portion of my 66 rear surround aluminum has an argent finish on several surfaces---but the other pieces don't have the argent paint at all---would all 66's have some degree of argent paint to give a reflective/ matte look to the pieces??? Or is this one end piece off an earlier year??

Well my '66 Town Landau has argent paint on all the surrounds - and it looks original.
