Lightbulb Battery for 56

This is probably a stupid question....but.......
other than maintaining originality does it matter what battery is in a 56'?
Is the 12V "power punch" the most optimal for car or can a 21st century model perfrom better.

if not any suggestuions as to what would perform best

thanks

I believe you can use most any, that are called for, and fit. Before I sold my '56, in 2000, I had always used Interstate batteries, successfully, for the 20 years I owned the car.
