**HELP** 89 ABS, need info

hello my GF has an 89 T-BIRD LX, and recently the brake lamp came on, so she took it down to the brake shope, and they told her the ABS module went out in it... where is this module located, adn what years can i interchange with, also does someone have a pic of this module handy so i can compare notes? also how safe is it to drive the car like this? we have a 13 month old child, and i'm thinking for her saftey

I think the ABS control module is somewhere in the trunk area. Unfortunately, that's all I can contibute.

Go to "Google" type in abs module 89 t-bird .They give a lot to look at.

its $350 from autozone with a lifetime warranty... a little more than on the net but u get peace of mind if u intend on keeping on the car, however, you can just disable the abs altogether and have standard brakes
