2006 T3-Bird

My 2003 Bird was purchased on Oct 24, 2003. It is wisper white with matching hard top. Interior is black with whit accent in the seat, wheel and shift knob. It also has a SSTransmision. I believe it is a premium. Thanks Robbee

Robbee,
Your Premium 2003 white, white HT, SST, & spoke chrome wheels is one of 538. Are the last four of your VIN 1435, 1687, or 3515? If I know the last four digits I can tell you what day it was built.

Wink My 2002 T-Bird

I wanted this car since it came out in 2002, but couldn't afford it.
Finally was able (at my wife's insistance) to get it for myself as a retirement gift in June of this year. I love it.

2002 T-Bird
Exterior: Teal blue (I call it T-Bird Blue)
Model: Deluxe
Interior blue/black
Hardtop: same color as exterior

It came out of Houston, TX with less than 18k on it.
VIN: 1FAHP60A82Y113599

irsgm,

Ford Motor Company also calls that color Thunderbird Blue. And you have the Premium model, not the less expensive Deluxe. Your premium 2002 blue, blue HT, partial blue interior, 7 spoke chrome wheels is one of 835 made like that.

1FAHP60A82Y113599
Order Date: 10/23/2001
Date Built: 3/13/2002
At Dealer: 3/27/2002
Sold Date: 4/12/2002 Originally sold by Energy Country Ford-Lincoln-Mercury, Port Arthur, TX

Congratulations on your retirement! I have the same color Thunderbird as you and I retire tomorrow.
Harry

irsgm - First of all, Welcome to the forum and enjoy that car and your retirement.
It is a great color! When I ordered my '02 it was what I was going to order, when my wife convinced me to order a black bird. I should have stayed with my plan.
I noticed you are from CT...I was born and brought up in Greenwich and moved to MA in '63

Thanks for the info.
I thought it was a Deluxe because:
1. It didn't have as much blue in the interior as another one I saw; and
2. I was told the Premium had heated seats, and this doesn't.

BTW: YOU ARE PROBABLY GONNA LOVE BEING RETIRED! I know I do...

Yeah, always been a New Englander.

Depending where you live in MA, you may see me cruisin' around.
My son's family lives near Foxboro, and his in-laws are in Saugus; so the TBird spends time on the I-495 beltway.

P.S. A black or a merlot Bird were the only other colors I would have considered, but my wife wanted me to just go with my first choice. Glad I listened!

The other one you saw with more blue was the full blue interor option (dash & door panels). No 2002s came with heated seats... that option was introduced in 2003. Send me a private message if you might want the window sticker for this car.
