If it has Chrome wheels, chances are it is a premium. However, I'll leave the rest up to Quickdraw. He has a wealth of info for TBirds.

Tops

Is there any difference between the '02 and '05 hard tops. I have an '05 and I found an unused '02 top for sale. It's been sitting in a dealers storage area since '02.

Wink

The hardtops are all the same externally and fit all 2002-2005 TBirds. However, the 2002 has an interior that is more charcoal than black. So if you have a black 05 , it may not look right.
BTW, is this the one in NH? - What's the color of your car?

Tops

My bird is blk / blk so a charcoal liner might look pretty shabby. The dealer is in SE TX. Also, the top color is aqua (looks like the logo trim) so a repaint and liner replacement makes the asking price of $1500 without caddy or tools seem a bit high.

In my opinion no one would ever know the difference between the 2002 headliner and the black of later years unless you pointed it out to them. It would be one thing to have the two colors side by side but when installed the hardtop's headliner is always shadowed and in the dark.
