Front & Rear Emblems

Has anybody had any problems with the Front and Rear emblems?

The actual "T Bird" emblems. When I wash it,the ends (wings) are lifted up and catch the mitt.

Has anyone used something to help secure it to the body, other than be careful with the wash mitt.

Thanks!

T'Bird Emblems

I had the same problem and replaced the plastic "Thunderbird" logo on the rear panel of my car. It was attached with adhesive, there were no holes in the panel. It was relatively easy to remove and replace. See the following link. http://forums.thunderbirdforum.com/s...ead~t~3057.htm Good luck, charlie

Isn't this a real pain. You would think Ford would have seen this and fixed it.I was in luck as a friend has a T-Bird and told me about the lifting(he learned the hard way).Still knowing I have be careful washing with a mitt and drying.I'm a little worried thinking about an automatic carwash

Becareful while washing.....wash from the center out....
along the wings. Pat dry the same way.

Careful is the buzz word.
