Question Crazy gauges

I have an 04 with electrical/computer? problems. Randomly temp gauge goes to hot, cooling fan runs with no reason, all warning lights come on. If I pull over and shut down for a fee minutes, start up and all is well. Ford dealer is no help. Help!

Has your car done any of this while it was at the dealers?

If it has and that's their answer, try a Lincoln dealer. The drive line is from the Lincoln LS, so they may have witnessed this same thing happening before.

Final Answer to T-bird prpblems

George,

As you recall, I had constant problems with my 03 T-bird. Then, I bought an extended warranty and have not had one hint of a problem since I laid down the "big bucks' for the EW. The EW is the only answer to Murphy's Law for T-birds. The cars are special and I will keep mine until I'm in the big box. hopefully, my warranty runs out first.

Have an outstanding weekend,

jetbird (Jim)

Jim:
While were discussing the extended warranty and a 2003 Bird, did you get a letter from Ford giving you up to 100,000 miles on the COPS? If not I can get you a copy.
That letter was to go out to all 2003 owners. Just thought I'd check with you.
Someones trying to get Ford to cover 2002 and 2004 & 2005's as well, for that potential problem
