Charles, I can't get your build date until Monday... tell me what color hardtop (if any) you have, 7 or 16 spoke wheels, what interior, SST or not, premium or deluxe and Ill tell you exactly how many were built to those specifications....

I own a 2003 Desert Sky Blue with a black soft top. My interior is the black accent package.

I see that about a year ago you researched this configuration and reported that the black accent package had the leather wheel and knob.

My window sticker is marked black accent package as an option. I do have the leather wheel but not the knob. The knob is plastic. Could that be because I have the select shift transmission??

My vin is 1FAHP60AX3Y110821...

I'ld love some info if you could.

If I ever said the black accent was leather that was a mis-type as I knew from the beginning that the black accent was painted wood, not leather. All black accents are supposed to have the painted wood (not plastic) shift knob and the top section of the steering wheel is also painted wood. The standard black interior is leather in both knob and wheel. Did you get yours used maybe someone switched? I have heard of one other car that came from the factory with a mismatch and I attribute that to a build error. Your DSB with no hardtop with the black accent is one of 3 if its a Deluxe model and its one of 21 if its a premium. If you have a DSB hardtop its one of 32, if its a deluxe or one of 573 if its a premium model. The order code for the premium is 130 (with top) or 110 (without a top) Deluxe is 100 if no top and 120 if it has a top. Ill check your build date tomorrow at work.

A 2004 Black Deluxe with black accent and 16 spoke painted wheels is one of 24 if it does have the SST, and its one of 11 if it does NOT have the SST. Ill have your build date tomorrow....

Charles, the SST is Select Shift Transmission - its about a $150 option and just lets you select the gears manually. I have that option on a LS I bought used but have never used it and wouldn't pay extra for it but others like to select the gears themselves. If yours has the SST it has a slotted position on the right side of your shift lever with a + or -.... push forward to the "+" and you go up a gear if you push back once to the "-" and you drop down a gear.

Sorry, about three months ago the system I access dumped all their 2002 data... I can only get 2003 and up now but I've heard that the Dealer Service Dept can access OASIS and get your build date and sold date.
