Two questions,

Can you bring the ragtop up without taking the baffle off?

Would it be possible to take a pic and post it of the baffle removed (Just the baffle itself)?

The soft top will go up without removal - the instructions do caution you to try it carefully once you install it and not just take it for granted - our top cleared it with no problem.
As far as a picture by itself - there wouldn't be much to see - the panel is transparent with just the two straps - don't have a digital camera - soooo being computer challenged it will be some time before I can post the pic.

Don't forget, when you get your film developed, you can also get a CD back with the pictures in a digital format.

Erict - just noticed that you are in Quebec - a note of possible interest to you - there is a cool weather panel (additional cost)that attaches to the bottom of the baffle to block the area between the seats - the advertised purpose is to keep the cockpit warm with the top down as the weather gets cooler. I did get the attachment but haven't tried it yet - only attached it to make sure it fit - did not take it out on the road.

Navigator, your noticing I am in Quebec, and commenting on the cool weather, answered my second question regarding the pics.

I wanted to find out how far down the baffle covered the space between the seats.

The exact concern, spring and fall cool mornings and evenings!

Even this week we were running mornings at 7am that were in the mid 50's.

That is baseball cap (for some a tuque would be better) and windbreaker weather, if you are going to trop the top.

This is baffle has real potential.

Thanks again for your comments navigator.

The only down side I found with the baffle on my Mustang was fingerprints when putting it on. Unlike the T-Bird, I take mine on and off as the back seat is out of bounds with it in place. I've taken to using a pair of cotton work gloves when putting it on as I spent 10 minutes getting the greasy fingerprints off it after originally putting it on.

To ditto what was said, the folks at Wind Baffle were great. I got the winter package, which includes the mentioned additional panel, but when it came the panel wasn't included. One quick call and 2 days later I had it.

A case would be nice...something like what comes with t-tops or removable glass sunroofs. For now mine is wrapped in the bubble wrap, in the box, in the garage!

Your right about the fingerprints - the cotton gloves are a great idea. Better half is busy on the pouch - after all it's her car - suuuure.

Cool

I think we'd all have to agree that depends on how you kiss your sister!

I guess I am just one of those who doesn't understand why people want a car with no top, but want it to act like a car with a top.

Like people who drive with the top down and side windows rolled up. UGGH.

Just don't get it. Maybe it's me.

I mean what ever happened to wind in your face?

Has anyone had a problem ordering the wind baffle on the Internet? I have placed an order twice, kept the printed confirmations and still can't seem to get one. No on-site connections to check an order. Seems kind of sloppy.

Cool

NuttyGambler-I may be able to shed some light on the subject from a female perspective.

I LOVE the wind in my face, I love the sun shining down on me...even when it's 100 degrees and I'm sweating, I love the way it smells with the top down, I love the way it sounds with the top down.

The ONLY thing I don't like is that one clump of hair that whips into my face while I'm driving, either blinding me or just causing a lot of pain. Usually a ponytail holder or baseball cap will do the trick, but there are occasions, albeit very rare, where it isn't appropriate to show up with a baseball cap on. That is when the wind baffle is acceptable. IMO.
