Production Update

The 8300/8400 series are sitting on the line now. A few 8500/8600's were built ahead of schedule, this would explain why 8511 was delivered already.

Production starts up again on 1/2/02.

Well, sounds like we're getting pretty close to 9293. Now if the snow will hold off for a couple weeks.

It would be interesting to see if the vehicels pulled ahead were Deluxe, no Hard Top, no running lights or a particular color.

Must be a commodities issue or paint line balancing to pull one ahead of the pack.

We picked-up our T-Bird today 12/31/01. Red/red premium Black Premium package interior VIN # 8306 We were #2 of 8. Arrived at the dealership in Plainfield IN on 12/29/01 we got the call this morning that it was ready to go. I drove home about 60 miles and lost count of all the thumbs up I received. Wow what a great ride I've waited 46 years to have a little BIRD. My wife followed me home and drooled all over the steering wheel of her Crown Vic.
