Priority Numbers

On our order of our 2002 TBird, a priority number of 44 was listed. How do we know what that means, as far as delivery wise? Ordered car 3/01. Any information is very much appreciated. Our dealer has only received 2 of 24. We are 12 of 24, how is Ford going to make delivery of these before 2003 comes out? Blk on blk full red accent interior

Go back and read the posts on the 800 Number thread. The dealer can use the order input date or the priority code to sequence his orders. Many dealers put all their orders in with the same priority number.

The dealership should get about 3 per month from here on out, which would put you at late March/early April build. By late Feb. start asking if your vehicle has been serialized yet. Once you have a vin, follow on the yahoo site to estimate build and delivery dates.
