I own a 1990 t-bird, and I was just wondering if anyone had any clue as to why my headlights might be flickering on and off. I'm sorta car stupid, and was wondering if anyone knew how I might fix it?
Thanks

If you have fog lights (SC only for 1990) and run them with headlights as I tend to do with my '92 Sport, try turning them off to see if the problem goes away or lessens. My problem was the headlight switch, and after replacing 3 at around 1-year intervals at my expense, the dealer finally replaced it with a new-and-improved switch. If I remember correctly, the switch was actually a recall-type fix. Ask your dealer or parts house about the switch. If FACTORY fog lights are installed, they add to the problem because they route through the headlight switch, I believe - the fog lights will only light with LOW BEAM headlights.
Hope this helps!
