I'm thinking about purchasing a '96 T-Bird LX (V8). I was wondering if there are any Bird performance sites I can check out?

Will the 4.6L Mustang engine mod's work on a V8 T-Bird? I'm looking for Supercharger, Ignition, Headers, Exhaust & Wheel info.

(Will the new Cobra style wheels fit?)

There are more performance parts for a SC t-bird than a LX. The LX is a little slow .
A Sc is a super charged V-6 and a little quicker out of the hole. If you want to stay with a LX then try the TCCOA.com.
