428 engine

I have a question that I have been unable to get an answer. There were 5049 1966 T-Bird conv. made how many of these 5049 had the optional 428 engine?

no one ive ever talked to about this knows for sure. consensus is that about 15-20% came with the "Q" code V8. We have one, actually my mom bought it brand new in oct 66.
