Ford Racing Performance Parts makes exhaust systems for the Mustang but on a few of the systems, they say that the system is not legal for pollution controlled motor vehicles. Does that mean that it can't be used for street use? Thanks to anyone who can help!

Yep, the ones that eliminate the catalytic converters "can't" be used on the street. (ie. won't pass emissions tests - don't get caught!)
Most "Cat back" systems are street legal as the emissions control devices (converter, o2 sensors, etc.) are intact. Duane

Pick up "5.0 Mustang" at your local magazine stand. There are adds for 'cat back' systems and free flow cat systems that will keep you legal.
